To Find Hope…..Pray.

Prayer. How do we define it? Communication with God; Supplication; Petition; Something we do every day? Or only in emergencies?

It is important that we remember prayer is about our relationship with God and He is full of grace and love. Prayer is an encounter with Him and in that encounter we come face to face with that grace and love.
The key thing that gives meaning to life is hope. The world would sometimes have us believe that there is no hope. But as human beings we all have an intrinsic longing for hope and for prayer and the two are interrelated because it is through prayer that we find hope. The incredible thing is that when we have reached the end of our resources and feel completely helpless we can pray. When we have reached the highest point of joy and celebration – we can pray. There is no place in this world where we cannot pray and in that it is the most profoundly wonderful gift.

The Psalmist speaks of that when he says: ‘Where can I go from your Spirit…?’
